1. About us
TATEX is a tourism services company providing private electric golf cart tours and group transport in Kraków, Poland. Our place of business is Plac Wszystkich Świętych 11, Kraków. Our registered address is Dauna 97, 30-629 Kraków. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the booking of our services.
By submitting a booking request — whether through our website form, by phone, by WhatsApp or by email — you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Booking and confirmation
A booking is not confirmed until you have received written confirmation from TATEX — either by email, WhatsApp or SMS. Submitting a booking request form does not itself constitute a confirmed reservation.
We will respond to all booking requests within a few hours during operating hours (Monday to Sunday, 8:00–20:00). If you have not received a confirmation within 24 hours, please contact us directly by phone or WhatsApp.
Please note that WhatsApp is operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. When you contact us via WhatsApp, your message data is processed by Meta and may be transferred outside the European Economic Area under Standard Contractual Clauses. We use WhatsApp solely to respond to your direct enquiries.
For group bookings, all specific terms — including price, number of carts, route, timing, guide language and any special arrangements — are agreed individually by phone or email and confirmed in writing before the tour takes place.
3. Prices
All prices are quoted per vehicle (cart) unless otherwise stated. The price includes the driver, the electric cart, and the audio guide. It does not include entrance fees to any museums, churches or other attractions.
Prices for group tours are quoted individually and may differ from standard tour prices. All prices are stated in Polish Złoty (PLN) unless an alternative currency is agreed in writing.
We reserve the right to adjust our prices at any time. The price applicable to your booking is the price agreed at the time of confirmation.
4. Payment
Payment is typically made in cash to the driver at the start of the tour, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing. For group bookings, a deposit may be required to secure the reservation — the amount and payment method will be specified at the time of booking confirmation.
We do not store or process payment card details on this website.
5. Cancellation and changes
Cancellation by the customer:
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled tour start time: free of charge.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time: we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the total tour price.
- No-shows (failure to appear at the agreed meeting point without prior notice): we reserve the right to charge the full tour price.
To cancel or change a booking, please contact us as early as possible by phone at
+48 797 199 428 or by email at
tatex.tour@gmail.com.
Cancellation by TATEX:
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a tour in exceptional circumstances beyond our control (see Section 8). In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or an alternative date at no additional cost.
6. Weather and tour conditions
Our electric golf carts are equipped with transparent rain covers and heaters, and our tours operate in all weather conditions unless it is unsafe to do so. We do not cancel tours due to light rain or cold weather.
In the event of severe weather conditions (storm warnings, extreme ice or other conditions that make it unsafe to operate the carts), we will contact you as early as possible to reschedule or offer a full refund.
7. Conduct and safety
All passengers must follow the instructions of the driver at all times. The driver has full authority over the cart and the route and may terminate a tour without refund if a passenger’s behaviour poses a risk to the safety of others or causes significant disruption.
Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings during the tour. TATEX accepts no liability for lost, stolen or damaged personal property.
The maximum capacity of each cart is 5 passengers plus the driver. We will not carry more passengers than the cart is certified to carry. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
8. Force majeure
TATEX shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under these Terms and Conditions where such failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, government restrictions, public health emergencies, civil unrest, infrastructure failure or any other event that makes it impossible or impractical to operate the tour.
9. Liability
TATEX carries public liability insurance in accordance with applicable Polish law. Our liability for any loss, damage or injury arising in connection with our tours is limited to the total price paid for the tour in question, except where liability cannot be excluded by law (for example, in cases of personal injury caused by our negligence).
We are not responsible for any consequential losses, including but not limited to missed flights, hotel costs or other travel expenses arising from changes to or cancellation of a tour.
10. Complaints
If you have a complaint about your tour or our service, please raise it with the driver or contact us directly as soon as possible at
tatex.tour@gmail.com or
